I am quite an old person, when I was younger I moved abroad with my Husband we lived very happily for years, but then things started to gradually start to fall apart, and it was obvious that we were going to separate. A few more months down the line we separated and he went back to our home country. Although I simply did not have many friends around I was willing to stay and make a go of it all.
All this happened around 30 years ago and guess what I am still on my own with no family around, I would move back to my homeland but I just cannot up root myself after such a long time. Do not get me wrong, my family visit me quite alot but its just not the same. I spend a huge amount of days alone.
But suddenly this all changed. It was a very cold winter and my Boiler basically broke down on me, I do live in a sort of quiet are so. I quickly called my heating suppliers and it seemed like they were round in an instant.
I did get speaking to the person and we had a huge amount in common with each other, they fixed my heating quite promptly, but I made some amazing friends. Five years on and we now all live together and get along like a house on fire. It just goes to show you that your destiny will find you a friend even if you are not looking for one. All I can say is that I am greatful that my heating broke down, because it has changed every aspect of my life.
